Dr. Azadeh Riahi

PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy who is passionate about helping people of all ages move with confidence and get back to the activities they love. Originally from Chicago, IL, I first called Pittsburgh home while completing both my undergraduate and master’s degrees at the University of Pittsburgh. I later returned to Chicago to earn my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and spent six years in the Chicago area building my clinical experience. I am excited to return to Pittsburgh and feel especially grateful to be back in a city that has played such an important role in my life.

As a physical therapist, I take a patient-centered and individualized approach to care. I enjoy working with patients across the lifespan and treating a wide variety of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. I believe that successful rehabilitation goes beyond simply reducing pain—it is about helping each patient understand their body, build confidence in their movement, and return to the activities that are meaningful to them! I am passionate about evidence-based practice and creating treatment plans that are both effective and realistic for each patient’s goals and lifestyle. Whether that means returning to a favorite sport, getting back to the gym, keeping up with family, or simply moving through everyday life with less pain, I work collaboratively with my patients to help them reach their goals.

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy staying active, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends. I am thrilled to be back in Pittsburgh and look forward to becoming part of the local community.
