Post-Physical Therapy Maintenance – Continuing Your Progress After PT

Your recovery doesn’t have to end when your formal physical therapy sessions do. At Pittsburgh Performance Physical Therapy, we know that for many people, the journey to full function, confidence, and resilience continues beyond insurance coverage. That’s why we offer options to help you maintain and even improve your results after discharge.

Who This Is For

  • Still working toward your goals – You’ve made great progress but haven’t reached your full potential and want to keep moving forward.
  • Committed to staying at your best – You want ongoing support for stretching, massage, personal training, or maintenance programs to keep pain away and performance high.

Flexible, Out-of-Pocket Services

While these services are not covered by insurance, they may be eligible for payment through a health savings account (HSA) or flexible spending account (FSA). Options include:

  • Personal training tailored to your specific needs and goals.
  • Targeted stretching sessions to maintain mobility and reduce stiffness.
  • Therapeutic massage for muscle recovery and tension relief.
  • Telehealth visits (15–60 minutes) for guidance and progress checks from anywhere.

Why Continue with Us?

Every session is still one-on-one, designed around your current needs and future goals. Whether you’re preventing re-injury, boosting performance, or simply keeping your body in peak condition, we’ll be there to guide you every step of the way.
Your progress is worth protecting—let’s make sure it lasts.

I’ve seen Elisabeth for every PT issue for the last 10 years. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Mike Cham

If you don’t think it’s possible to be sad your physical therapy is over… think again. I actually looked forward to my sessions at PPPT over the few months I was a patient for a lower back issue. I worked with Dr. Wheeler primarily but also had the chance to work with Dr. Hudson and Dr. Woollard. All three are fantastic. Not only are they knowledgeable, they are kind, caring and take a general interest in your well-being. I learned so much during my time and was provided with exercises to continue using to strengthen my body and prevent future injury. If you can’t already tell, I highly recommend Pittsburgh Performance Physical Therapy!
